I have blogged before about
making my own cleaning products and I have been making my own diaper wipe solution since I first started using cloth diapers with Troy, so making my own hair detangler appealed to me. I used to buy the hair detangler/leave in conditioner from my hair salon at $10.99 a pop so I am really saving a lot here. I got the idea from
Money Saving Mom. Her Web site is spectacular for coupons, recipes and general parent and homemaker tips. Here is how you do it:
- Squirt one dollop of hair conditioner into spray bottle (about 1 - 2 Tbsp).
- Fill bottle with water (about 8 - 10 ounces).
- Shake.
On another note, I was frantically looking around for my keys for about twenty minutes this morning. After a while I realized that Reese was being a little too quiet in the corner. Lo and behold, I found my keys! They do make a lovely necklace too.
Thanks for the recipe - I'm going to need it soon as I have a hard time finding my detangler. Also going to use on London as she gets the worst bedhead!
ReplyDeleteLet me know how you like it. I hope to use it on Reese too, but right now she doesn't have enough hair. London is getting so big! She is adorable. How are you guys doing?
