I feel kind of funny posting about swimming class in the end of December, especially when it is so cold outside, but every Friday morning the kids have a swim lesson at an indoor swimming pool that is warmed up. We have been bringing Troy for a long time now, but we only recently started taking Reese. It is amazing how after just a few sessions Reese has been able to put her head completely underwater without complaining. Troy has earned quite a few ribbons and can do things such as back floating for seven seconds, climbing out of the pool independently, holding his breath for almost ten seconds, etc. The best part is that since we take the class on Friday mornings it is considered an "off peak" time so we get the class for half price.
